Hello Edgemoor Parents!

We have an exciting opportunity for you.

The Country Club Swim & Dive Association (CCSDA) is offering multiple opportunities to be trained as Stroke & Turn Judges.
The training sessions will be conducted by none other than our own Patrick Donahue.

The schedule of CCSDA trainings is as follows:
i.5/11/24 (Sat) – Stroke & Turn Judges Training – In Person @Lakewood at 11 am
ii.5/14/24 (Tue) – Stroke & Turn Judges Training via Zoom at 7 pm
iii.5/16/24 (Thu) – Starter & Referee Training via Zoom at 7 pm
iv.6/05/24 (Wed) – Stroke & Turn Clinic - Last Chance via Zoom at 7 pm

To be a Stroke & Turn judge people only need to attend one of these sessions and there is no cost to attendees.
The session this Saturday (5/11) at Lakewood is the only in person Stroke & Turn training session and the other two will be conducted online via Zoom.
The advantage of attending this session is that there will be a swimmer demonstrating strokes and turns that warrant disqualification.

We appreciate the many of you who have volunteered as timers in the past and hope you can step into the role of a meet official.  We rely on parent volunteers to fill these positions and the children of several of the parents who have been serving as officials for Edgemoor have recently graduated.
